54 coureurs ont pris le départ du 11ème critérium de l’Agriculture à Evaux. Dés le début de course, les concurrents ont imprimé un rythme très élevé, parcourant près de 45 km dans la première heure. Malgré de nombreuses tentatives, la plupart du temps initiées par les licenciés du VC Cournon ou d’Issoire, les nombreux spectateurs présents ont dû attendre la 2ème heure de course avant de voir une vingtaine de coursiers fausser compagnie au reste du peloton. Après de multiples rebondissements et contrairement aux années précédentes la victoire s’est jouée au sprint entre 8 coureurs. Martin Laas lauréat de nombreuses primes s’est imposé facilement devant Loïc Forestier, ce dernier remportant le classement par points.
En résumé, une 11ème édition qui a connu un magnifique succès sportif et populaire ou spectateurs (devant le spectacle proposé), coureurs (face au montant des primes distribuées) et organisateurs ont tout lieu d’être satisfaits. Un juste retour sur investissement pour Bruno Papineau, instigateur de cette épreuve et premier magistrat de la commune d’Evaux-les-Bains.
